Frequently Asked Questions about Tattoos
1. What is the process to book a tattoo?
The first step is to fill out our form in the “get a quote” tab with all the necessary information about your design, and then we will get back to you as soon as possible with all the information or if you prefer we can schedule a personal consultation to talk better, this can be requested through our number (321) 947-9211.
2. How does the tattoo healing process work?
After the session, we provide detailed aftercare instructions. Generally, a tattoo will heal superficially in 2 to 4 weeks, but full healing can take up to 2 months. It’s important to keep the area clean and moisturized and avoid sun exposure and soaking in water.
3. Does getting a tattoo hurt?
Pain varies from person to person and depends on the placement of the tattoo. Areas with more bone, like ribs or feet, tend to be more painful. However, modern techniques and our commitment to ensuring your comfort make the process as smooth as possible.
4. Can I tattoo over scars or cover an old tattoo?
Yes, it’s possible. I specialize in cover-ups and tattoos that camouflage scars. During the consultation, we’ll assess the area and discuss the best design to cover the scar or previous tattoo.
5. What should I do before getting a tattoo?
We recommend you come well-fed and hydrated for your session. Avoid consuming alcohol or any blood-thinning substances 24 hours before your tattoo. It’s also a good idea to wear comfortable clothes that allow easy access to the area to be tattooed.
6. How much does a tattoo cost?
The cost varies depending on the size, complexity, and placement of the tattoo. During the initial consultation, we can provide a personalized quote based on your preferences and the desired design.
7. At what age can I get a tattoo?
We only tattoo people over the age of 18, upon presentation of proof (State ID/Drivers license or Passport).
8. Can I get tattooed if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
For safety reasons, we don’t recommend getting tattooed if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as the process can cause stress, and there is a risk of infection, along with concerns about the products used during the healing process.
